Who We Are

Take Back Big Tech is a pressure group and think tank. We exist to hold Big Tech accountable and fight for alternatives that work for us, not for them.

Tech has crept into every corner of our lives, and the costs keep rising: our privacy, our mental health, our ability to think for ourselves. The good news is that the rules already exist, the Online Safety Act and the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumer Act, but regulators are being lobbied hard to go easy on Big Tech.

70% of UK adults believe these companies are not regulated enough. Regulators need public backing to enforce the rules properly. That's where you come in.
